The desire to stay connected started with a wish to communicate reliably from anywhere. In 2005, 12Connect Energy was founded, initially as one of the first Voice over IP providers in the Netherlands. At that time, VoIP was still in its early stages, mainly connecting offices for internal calls. founders Wim van Breugel and Mono Kanouni quickly recognized that the future lay in using data networks for communication instead of traditional lines.

 

Early on, we made this technology available in challenging environments, including remote military operations in Afghanistan. Successfully delivering connectivity in such harsh conditions led to requests for other isolated locations, such as temporary outdoor events. Proving we could deliver reliable networks in these environments laid the foundation for 12Connect Energy, our division focused on renewable energy projects.

 

Today, 12Connect Energy designs and manages secure networks for wind farms, solar parks and battery storage systems, We ensure that multiple systems can communicate safely and reliably, creating stable,
